"I wanted to send you a quick note to thank you and your caregivers for excellent service. As you may know my mom was in need of professional caregiver services. We did what I assume a lot of people in this circumstance do, we asked the people we knew for recommendations and you were recommended to us.

My mom requires what I would call high maintenance. I was worried that the people who would be sent over to us would not give my mom the proper care that she required after surgery.

We had 2 of your caregivers who worked 24 hour shifts to cover so that my mom wouldn't be left alone. One caregiver worked the weekdays and the other caregiver worked the weekends. They both became more than caregivers they are practically part of the family. When my mom required a second stay in the hospital the weekday caregiver knew my mom's background and conditions better than I or my two siblings. It took practically an act of god to get her to come with us to grab a bite to eat once my mom was settled in to the hospital. She was concerned about leaving my mom for 15 minutes even though she hadn't eaten anything that day and it was already 3:00 pm.
Both caregivers are kind, gentle, professional and loving. Needless to say, they represent your company very well.

I am not the type of person who is easily won over and I don't ever remember writing a letter to thank someone for their services. In this case paying the bill and writing this letter doesn't seem enough to thank you for the great service that your company provides and the people that you hire.

If anyone would ever like to speak with me regarding my experience with your company and the excellent care that my mom received, I would be more than happy to share."

"I am writing to once again thank you on behalf of my entire family for all you and Adult Care did over these many, many months during my mother, Lois', lingering illness. Words cannot express adequately either how much your kind, compassionate and capable service meant to my mother or to all of our family, but especially me.

You may recall that before my mother was diagnosed, and even for quite a time thereafter, she had been remarkably agile and completely independent, which is just how she preferred to be. Before her illness, she knew you from your experiences with her dear friend, Maryan Feingold. She always remarked then how wonderful you were to Maryan and how much she appreciated that.

After Mom took ill and her activities become somewhat constrained, she was reticent to have anybody in her "space" and having her independence lessened. However, after we insisted that you begin on a one-shift basis, before she required around-the-clock help, 7 days a week, Mom adjusted to your presence and Adult Care's capabilities. Eventually, Mom bonded with you, beyond what any of us would have expected. Toward the end, Mom became fully dependent on you and the other caregivers at Adult Care Unlimited, as did we.

My being across the country during her long illness made me, too, dependent on you and your staff at Adult Care Unlmited. Thankfully, even during the most difficult times, you more than fulfilled your responsibilities to Mom and her family. For this we will all be forever grateful and offer our sincerest thanks. Should you ever need someone to testify to your special personal care, as well as your professional capabilities, please let me know."

"There isn't a day I don't think about my mom or the wonderful way in which you and your staff cared for her. I knew I could leave my mom in your care, take care of my own children for a few days and know she was being cared for the way I would've, had I been able to stay there permanently.
 
When I first left her in your charge, you called me at the first problem and provided sufficient information for me to take the next step.  You communicated with the doctor and took care of all the special needs that came up.  You even travelled to the pharmacy when an emergency antibiotic was prescribed.
 
All her medications were given on time and careful records were kept so that I could be updated completely.  And when we opted for Hospice care, you supported us and followed the protocols they laid out. 
 
You stayed with her, held her hand, talked to her, kept her comfortable and clean.  You told me what supplies I needed to get.  But you were always there to support me as well.  If you ever have need for a prospective client to know what it's like to have your agency provide care for a loved one, please feel free to have them call. We, the younger generation are not always available to be there full time, or feel equipped to provide the daily care one must when caring for the sick.
